Empowering Adlai Farmers through Innovation: How UM RPC and CEE bring Technology to Kinabuhi Farms

The Research and Publication Center (RPC) hosted a transformative event at Kinabuhi Organic Farms & Agriventures, Inc. (KOFAI), introducing groundbreaking Adlai technologies to local farmers. This program, titled "𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻," focused on deploying, demonstrating, and training participants on advanced milling and threshing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce post-harvest losses.

UM Inter-Branch UN-SDG Student Conference 2025: Pioneering Sustainable Solutions Through Geopolymer Technology

The UM Inter-Branch UN-SDG Student Conference 2025, with its theme “Future Forward: Unleashing Student Innovation for a Sustainable Future through UN SDG Solutions”, underscored the University of Mindanao’s commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability. Organized by the Council of College Student Government (CCSG), the conference brought together participants from various disciplines to present actionable solutions aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The University of Mindanao successfully hosted the Career Counselors Summit 2025 on January 11, 2025, at Cagliari Hall. Organized by the External Relations and International Affairs Office, the summit brought together Career Guidance Officers from various private and public schools across the city. The event served as a platform to exchange ideas, explore emerging career trends, and highlight UM’s unwavering commitment to preparing students for academic and professional success.

CEE sends 3 students to Thailand for Exchange Student Program

What a way to start the year 2025 for our 3 Engineering students as they commence their student exchange adventure at one of Thailand’s top engineering universities! They are about to immerse themselves in a dynamic learning environment, international exposure, and collaboration with students all over the globe. This experience will not only expand their technical skills but also broaden their cultural understanding, setting the stage for new opportunities and becoming a globally competitive individual.

Helping Save Lives: UM's 56th Blood Donation Drive

The University of Mindanao successfully concluded its 56th Blood Donation last January 22, 2025, at the PS Lobby, UM Matina Campus. This initiative was spearheaded by the UM Administrative Employees Association (UMAEA) in collaboration with SPMC- Blood Production Services / DOH-XI to help save lives and promote the spirit of volunteerism among students, faculty, and staff. The event turned out to be successful as numerous blood donors participated to extend their support to the in-demand need for blood in local medical facilities.

Join the Green Revolution: UM Alumni lead the way in Mangrove Planting toward Sustainable Future

The University of Mindanao-Alumni Affairs Office successfully conducted a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity at Barangay Lasang, Davao City last January 18, 2025. Several members of UMAEA, who are also alumni of the university actively participated in this meaningful event.

Empowering Global Opportunities: UM’s Information Drive on Student Exchange Programs

The UM External Relations and International Affairs Office conducted a 2-day information drive last January 16, 2025 was made successful with the participation of the former outbound exchange students from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the USA. They manned the information table and eagerly attended to the questions of interested students.

UMAL Camp 2024: Building Leaders, Shaping Futures

The University of Mindanao Ambassadors League (UMAL) Camp 2024 was held at Secret Forest, Sinuda, Kitaotao, Bukidnon, on December 14, 2024. The camp aimed to strengthen the communication skills, teamwork, and leadership capabilities of its participants while also fostering camaraderie among members. A total of 35 students from the University of Mindanao Ambassadors League and the Production Team participated in the event.
