CEE sends 3 students to Thailand for Exchange Student Program

What a way to start the year 2025 for our 3 Engineering students as they commence their student exchange adventure at one of Thailand’s top engineering universities! They are about to immerse themselves in a dynamic learning environment, international exposure, and collaboration with students all over the globe. This experience will not only expand their technical skills but also broaden their cultural understanding, setting the stage for new opportunities and becoming a globally competitive individual.

Mr. Louie Verdeblanco and Ms. Erika Louise Pelien of the Civil Engineering program, and Mr. Isaac Nathan Cadorna of the Computer Engineering program are three of the four UM students who will embark on the CHED-funded AIMS mobility program for the second semester of this school year.

They will study at King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Thonburi (KMUTT), a national public engineering and technology university in Thailand and one of nine national research universities in the country. The said students will live and study in Thailand for one semester, immersing themselves in both academic and cultural experiences and gaining valuable insights into Thai innovation, technology, and engineering practices.
