Empowering Global Opportunities: UM’s Information Drive on Student Exchange Programs

The UM External Relations and International Affairs Office conducted a 2-day information drive last January 16, 2025 was made successful with the participation of the former outbound exchange students from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the USA. They manned the information table and eagerly attended to the questions of interested students. 

Students from different programs eagerly went to the information desk to ask their queries and was gladly entertained by the former exchange students.

Engineering outbound students, Angel and Karl Jhon even went room-to-room to introduce the university’s exchange programs to fellow CEE majors, sharing their first-hand experiences, and providing valuable insights for those considering to apply in the student exchange program.

In another platform for promotion, the President of the CEE-CSG, Mr. Victor Shanly Millan, shared about his international leadership camp experience at one of UM’s partner universities in Thailand during the UM Interbranch UN SDG Students’ Conference this afternoon. He emphasized how intercultural encounters widen his perspective and inspire him to think globally while acting locally in his leadership roles. He also encouraged students to seek global opportunities through the help of ERIAO to harness their self-confidence and academic credentials.
