UM Chorale Receives Gintong Parangal Award at Malacañang

The University of Mindanao Chorale achieved a monumental milestone on November 24, 2024, when they were honored with the prestigious Gintong Parangal 2024 at Malacañang Palace. The award was presented by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos in recognition of the chorale's exceptional victory as Grand Prix Champion at the Taipei International Choral Competition held in August 2024.

College of Teacher Education Launches DEaR 2.0

The College of Teacher Education proudly initiated the Drop Everything and Research (DEaR) program, a bold initiative aimed at revitalizing the research culture within academic institutions by creating dedicated space and time for faculty members to focus exclusively on their research endeavors. On December 4, 2024, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the LIC Museum, New Matina Library, DEaR 2.0 was launched.
