The University of Mindanao, College of Teacher Education (CTE) and Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (UBJ) successfully conducted a collaborative webinar titled "Coaching Behavior and Sports Confidence of Athletes" on July 9, 2024. This event was a significant step towards the internationalization goals of both institutions, fostering collaboration and the exchange of best practices in sports and physical education.

The webinar was attended by students and faculty members from both universities' Physical Education and Sports Education programs. The participants were welcomed by Dean Jocelyn B. Bacasmot of UM-CTE. The insightful lecture delivered by Dr. Lovella D. Serrano from UM highlighted innovative coaching strategies aimed at enhancing athletes' confidence.

Dr. Desy Tya Maya Ningrum from UBJ provided a thought-provoking reaction, which led to an engaging open forum moderated by Dr. Christian Jay Syting. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates by Dr. Phyll Jhann E. Gildore and closing remarks from UBJ's Vice-Dean Sani Aryanto. The webinar not only shared valuable insights, but also strengthened ties between the institutions, paving the way for future collaborations.

Participants appreciated the opportunity to connect and learn, reflecting the core principle of internationalization: extending services and fostering mobility of ideas and best practices. This successful event sets a precedent for future academic and professional exchanges between UM and UBJ.
