How UM Strengthens ASEAN Ties at AEF 2025 in Malaysia

The University of Mindanao is currently participating in the ASEAN Universities Exhibition and Forum 2025 (AEF 2025) to showcase its excellence, promote innovation, and strengthen collaboration within the ASEAN community. The event takes place today and tomorrow, February 24-25, at the Sunway Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Representing UM are staff from the External Relations and International Affairs Office: Izza Aima Montederamos, Linkages Officer, and Jovanie Garcia, Information Assistant. They are joined by the ASEAN Student Mobility Program delegates: Clifford James Danduan, Angel Alicaba, and Ryan Dagoc.

The AEF 2025 brings together universities, policymakers, industry experts, and students to foster a stronger, more integrated educational ecosystem across the region. This initiative supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, reinforcing UM’s commitment to inclusive and equitable education while fostering international collaboration and academic excellence through strategic alliances.
