UM Soars Higher in the Latest EduRank

UM clinches the top spot in Davao Region, ranking 2nd across Mindanao, and an impressive 19th nationwide in the latest EduRank. UM is up by 5 notches from its 2023 national rank. UM’s improved ranking was due to its impressive performance in various field of disciplines: 5th in Health Sciences, 8th in Psychology, 11th in Economics, 13th in Computer Sciences, 14th in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, 22nd in Business and 24th in Biology. These disciplines have contributed significantly in the ranking with a total of 672 published scientific studies and accumulated 758 citations.

EduRank is an independent metric-based ranking of 14,131 universities from 138 countries using research outputs, non-academic prominence, and alumni influence as indicators.
