UM officers and department heads gather for the Annual Management Review, focusing on enhancing institutional performance and strategic planning.

The University of Mindanao held its Annual Management Review from September 18 to 20 at AVR 4, New Library Building, to evaluate the institution’s performance, assess key operational outcomes, and develop strategic plans aligned with UM’s mission of sustaining excellence in higher education, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.

The review focused on comprehensively evaluating UM’s academic and administrative operations. During the three-day event, officers, department heads, and leaders engaged in in-depth discussions to scrutinize current strategies, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and craft actionable plans for the future. The goal was to ensure that UM continues to meet and exceed its standards of excellence while adapting to the changing landscape of higher education.

Key topics addressed included the effectiveness of academic programs, efficiency of administrative processes, and overall institutional performance. By rigorously assessing these areas, UM’s leadership aims to reinforce the university’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

This Annual Management Review not only highlights UM’s dedication to operational excellence but also demonstrates its proactive approach to strategic planning. The outcomes from this review will guide the university’s initiatives and help maintain its position as a leading institution in higher education.
