UM Produces Topnotchers in Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination

The University of Mindanao’s College of Engineering Education achieved remarkable success in the February 2024 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination, producing topnotchers. UM graduates Rey Mediana Arcabal and Ronn Dave Torres Cañones excelled, securing the Top 1 and Top 8 positions, respectively.

The University attained an outstanding overall passing rate of 89.58%, with a 95.45% rate for first-time takers, surpassing the national passing rate of 65.85%. This accomplishment underscores the institution’s commitment to excellence as it aims to establish itself as a leading globally engaged university.
