UM Produces Topnotchers in 2024 Social Work Board Exam

 

The University of Mindanao is celebrating a significant achievement as its Bachelor of Science in Social Work students have excelled in the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Social Work. UM has proudly secured the seventh position in the Philippines among institutions with 51 or more licensure exam takers, highlighting its commitment to excellence in social work education.

The College of Arts and Sciences Education (CASE) at UM has particularly distinguished itself, with several students earning top honors. Christian Paolo Gallardo and Cheska Ysabella Tingzon both achieved impressive rankings, securing the 7th place. Additionally, Rosalinda Sario earned a spot in the Top 10, showcasing the high caliber of UM’s social work graduates.

The BS in Social Work program at UM equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex social issues and support individuals and communities. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical experience, preparing students to navigate diverse challenges in various social work settings.
