UM Opens its Gates during Phase 1 of the 2024 UM Campus Tour

The University of Mindanao (UM) recently welcomed incoming students to its sprawling 28-hectare campus for Phase 1 of the UM Campus Tour.

The University of Mindanao opened the gates of its 28-hectare campus to incoming first-year students from all over Mindanao during Phase 1 of the UM Campus Tour held last March 2, 2024. The University of Mindanao Main - External Relations and International Affairs Office (ERIAO) organized the activity, led by the University of Mindanao Ambassadors League as the tour guides.

Led by the UM Ambassadors League, the tour gave future Wildcats a taste of university life, from campus regulations to a fun mini-activity.

The tour commenced with an orientation on the campus rules, followed by a comprehensive tour around campus and a fun mini-activity. From the major buildings to the spacious fields at the university, the tour covered all of UM’s best features and facilities, including the most extensive library in Mindanao, which was recently opened for use. With one out of the three phases of the campus tour being complete, the second phase is already in the works, providing a chance for incoming first-year students to have a firsthand experience of what it’s like to study in the largest university in Mindanao and meet fellow enrollees.

With a commitment to providing quality, affordable, and open education, the University of Mindanao offers a memorable opportunity for incoming students to experience its exceptional standard of instruction and state-of-the-art facilities through the UM Campus Tour, showcasing why UM is the ideal place to be for their college journey.
