UM Drone Academy Completes 3rd Drone Pilot Certification Training

The UM Drone Academy, in partnership with Aerial Maneuver, successfully hosted its 3rd Drone Pilot Certification Training from February 28 to March 2 at the PS Building, University of Mindanao, Matina Campus. The three-day event provided in-depth training on drone operations, safety protocols, and regulations aimed at certifying drone pilots for various professional applications.

Participants in the training included a diverse group of professionals from various sectors, such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Special Investigation and Mobile Force (SIMFRU), the Marines, SWAT, San Pedro College, business owners, and employees from the University of Mindanao.

This collaborative training initiative is part of the UM Drone Academy’s commitment to advancing drone piloting skills and fostering interested professionals in the field, ensuring the safe and efficient integration of drones into different industries.
