400 Delegates Attended the 2025 AUN-Quality Assurance Assembly In Malaysia

Davao City, Philippines The University of Mindanao (UM) reaffirmed its commitment to regional academic collaboration as two of its senior executives took part in the 2025 AUN-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Assembly for Presidents, Chief Quality Officers (CQOs), and Assessors.

Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Edgardo O. Castillo and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ronnie V. Amorado represented UM at the annual gathering held from November 5–7, 2025, at the Dewan Tunku Canselor, University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The event brought together more than 400 delegates from higher education institutions across the Philippines and other ASEAN member countries. Each year, the AUN-QA Assembly serves as a key platform not only for plenary lectures but also for addressing emerging issues in quality assurance and presenting resolutions relevant to university presidents, CQOs, and assessors.

The University’s participation underscores its continuing commitment to strengthening academic quality and deepening its engagement with regional university networks.
