Team educAItors Brings Honor to the Philippines at Research Festival 2025 in Vietnam

Quy Nhon, Vietnam – The Research Festival Competition 2025, hosted by FPT Global Education, took place on August 13–17, 2025, at FPT University, Quy Nhon Campus, Vietnam, under the theme “Embody the Essence of AI, Empower the Future.” The prestigious event gathered innovative minds and aspiring researchers from across the globe to showcase groundbreaking projects across various fields.

Representing the Philippines, the team educAItors, composed of Michelle G. Mayol, Ziah T. Delfino, and Kyla D. Liston, all 4th year BSEd English students from the College of Teacher Education, University of Mindanao Main Campus, stood out among numerous international submissions. Their research proposal earned them a coveted spot in The Finale, making them the only Philippine team to reach this stage, a feat that brought pride and honor to both their university and the country.

Within the Linguistics sub-committee, 11 finalist teams vied for top recognition. Michelle G. Mayol took the stage to present their study, leading the team to secure 5th place and a minor award, along with a prize of 3 million Vietnamese dong.

This achievement not only reflects the university’s commitment to fostering excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness, but also resonates with the principles of SDG 4: Quality Education. By empowering students to engage in international research and innovation, the university contributes to shaping globally competitive graduates who are prepared to address real-world challenges through education and knowledge creation.

Their international recognition underscores not only their academic potential but also the capacity of Filipino students to make meaningful contributions to the global research community.
