After the last resounding moments of the gleeful high school life, senior high school students often find themselves standing at the crossroads, dubious of which path to take. Torn between dreams and practicality, they are in utmost need of guiding lights that will help them infer which road should be travelled by.
With the primary goal to provide indispensable assistance to graduating senior high school students in their pursuit of making contemplative career decisions, the University of Mindanao Career Guidance Team launched its School-to-School campaign on January 8, 2024. Not only does this initiative facilitate the students in their decision-making process, but it also provides an opportunity for the University to showcase and set the spotlight on the affluence of opportunities and programs offered in the institution.

Moreover, the campaign is spearheaded by four individuals coming from different colleges of the University. The team consists of Paul Christian Moyon from the College of Business Administration Education (CBAE), Jeramie Corsonado from the College of Arts and Sciences Education (CASE), Carlos Benzhar Sawer from the College of Hospitality Education (CHE), and Jaynard John Hernando from the College of Computing Education (CCE). Set on the goal to extend the scope of the campaign across all of Davao Region, they have already made visits to Digos City, Davao del Sur, Panabo City, and a few schools in Davao del Norte.
Embodied in the campaign is the University’s dedication to the part of its mission in democratizing access to education through one of its core values; teamwork. To see vividly the path to take, guiding lights pave and light the way.
